🍔 Local Spotlight: Burger Republic

Since 2017, Burger Republic has been a Mt. Juliet staple, known for their scratch-kitchen approach and high-quality Certified Angus Beef, with vegetarian options available. It’s the kind of place where the burgers are legendary and the hand-spun shakes are a must.
Why we love them:
-Creative Flavors: Keep an eye out for their newest limited-time releases, including the Taco Truck Burger, Taco Truck Salad, and Southwest Eggrolls.
-Live Music: Enjoy local tunes on the patio select Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Check their Instagram for the weekly lineup!
-Happy Hour Gems:
Sun–Wed (3–6 PM): $5 Big Brews, Bavarian pretzels, and house cocktails
Thursdays: 1/2 off draft pints and house wine, plus $5 Tater Tot Fondue
Whether you're looking for a casual family night or a lively evening with friends, Burger Republic offers a welcoming atmosphere and arguably the best burger-and-beer pairing in town.

Trivia Time Answer!
Mount Juliet is sometimes nicknamed the “City Between the Lakes” because it sits between Old Hickory Lake and Percy Priest Lake — which is a big reason the area exploded in popularity.
Meet the Team
Denise is a SoCal native who has called Middle Tennessee home for 25 years. A self-proclaimed foodie, she’s always on the hunt for the area's latest and greatest restaurants—though during football season, you’ll likely find her locked into a game.
Mike originally hails from New Jersey and has lived in Mt. Juliet for over 30 years. When he isn’t cheering on his favorite college and pro football teams, he loves getting out to catch some live local rock music.
Together, we started What’s Up Mt. Juliet because we believe there is so much to love about this great city. Our mission is simple: the more you know, the more you go!
Thanks for letting us be a small part of your week!
