☕ Family Brunch Spotlight: Keke’s Breakfast Café
Location: 11395 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet
Price Range: $11–$16 per person

Our family of four finally made it to Keke’s Breakfast Café this past weekend! They’ve been a Mt. Juliet favorite for a little while, but their breakfast-and-lunch-only hours never seemed to fit our schedule. This time, we set aside a morning to visit, and to our delight, we were seated right away—no wait at all! By the time we left, there was a bit of a line, so I think we just got lucky with our timing.

The vibe is great—lots of high-back booths that make the space feel cozy and private, though they have plenty of room for larger groups too. But let's talk about the real star of the show: the freshly ground coffee. Seriously, folks, it was incredible. I’d consider stopping by just for a cup of that alone!

And the menu doesn’t disappoint either—it’s packed with breakfast and lunch favorites, with lunch starting at 10:30. There’s a really good variety, so whether you’re in the mood for something classic or a little more filling, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

What we ordered:
Create A Combo- Pancakes, Bacon & Home Fries: A classic win. The pancakes were solid, but the bacon was the standout—thick, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. The potatoes had a peppery kick that we loved, even if they were a tad on the greasy side.
The Scrambler Bowl: This was my pick, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. While the flavors were on point, I was hoping for a more generous serving of veggies based on the menu description. They were a little sparse, but overall, it was still a tasty, filling bowl.

Grilled Cheese & Chips: This isn't your average "kid's meal" grilled cheese! It’s "adult-sized" on huge slices of bread with your choice of two cheeses. Perfect for a hungry teen or anyone craving a gooey classic.
Classic French Toast: Three massive slices of breakfast heaven. It’s a staple that’s hard to beat, and the portions were so generous my daughter actually had leftovers to take home.

While we stuck to the classics, we couldn't help but notice the Waffles and Stuffed French Toast on the menu—they looked and sounded absolutely delicious. If you're stopping by a little later in the day, they also serve a full lunch lineup with fresh salads and sandwiches, plus a selection of cocktails if you're in the mood for a boozy brunch!

The Final Verdict:
Keke’s definitely delivers on portion size—you certainly won’t leave hungry! Though the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and the convenience of having another great breakfast spot on the north end of town make it well worth the visit. Would we go back? Absolutely—if only to get another fix of that amazing coffee!
